New JRS Overview Information

Our website has established inspection standards to ensure customers can purchase used engines with confidence.

We conduct inspections of the engines we offer, combining information from the vehicles before production with the current vehicle condition, and make the evaluation visible. Based on this evaluation of the product’s condition, we adjust the pricing accordingly and provide the engines.

Since the products we handle are used, they vary in condition. By classifying and visualizing these differences, we have created a system where pricing is set based on the condition, making it easier for customers to make their selections.

We will continue to strive and improve so that our customers will feel satisfied and say, "I'm glad I purchased from this company."

What is "JGES" ?

In 2010, our company introduced its own standard for evaluating the quality of used car engines, known as "JRS (Japan Reuse Standard)."

In 2013, based on JRS, the publicly available specification PAS 777 for used engine evaluation standards was officially issued by the British Standards Institution. This standard clarified the quality of used engines, enabling customers to purchase them with confidence.

As of August 2022, we have evolved our inspection system in line with the establishment of our e-commerce platform and advancements in technology.

Responding to customer needs and improvements in inspection techniques, we have revised our processes. Customers can now access traceability information for used engines, videos showing engine start-up conditions, sludge inspection results, and external condition evaluations, all scored and viewable online.

We have rebranded this industry-first used engine inspection standard as "JGES (Japan Good Engine Standard)" and will continue working diligently to ensure customers feel confident and satisfied with their purchases from us.

Changes and Comparison of Inspection Methods

In line with the launch of our e-commerce site, technological advancements, and changes in the times, we have updated our inspection criteria.

We have made some improvements to the existing PAS777 inspection items (such as sludge and exterior inspections), which are now always available for your review.
